Hiring Cake Decorator

Nancy’s Cake Designs is ready to add a new cake decorator to her team!

This position will be available starting July 1st, 2018.

Description

Nancy’s Cake Designs is looking for a bilingual (Spanish and English) person with passion, and experience, for creating high quality buttercream and fondant cake designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a team player that works hard and continually goes above and beyond the basic requirements that will improve the custom cake shop, and can positively solve problems. This individual is expected to have great organization and time management skills.

Duties

– Attention to fine detail required for all daily tasks
– Team player work ethic a must
– Ability to establish priorities and work independently as well as part of a team
– A passion for cake art
– Continual creativity required to aid in the execution of new cake designs
– Ensure overall cleanliness and health standards are being met
– Responsible for exceptional customer service
– Able to learn cake details and take orders over the phone
– Consistently displaying a positive and happy demeanor when customer service is required
– Responsible for daily and weekly cleaning tasks as pertaining to custom cake making

Experience

– Experience in a bakery setting required
— Experience executing single tier and multi-tier custom cakes made with fondant and buttercream required
– Experience and excellence in the customer service field mandatory
